1. How can I make the donation?

  • Please make cheque payable to "Senior Citizen Home Safety Association" together with the donation form and send to "S2, 2/F, Oi Man Plaza, Homantin, Kowloon, Hong Kong". Please specify the donation for "Care-on-Call Charity Programme” / “EasyHome Services Charity Programme” on the back of the cheque.
7-Eleven
  • You can make a cash donation from HK$100 to HK5, 000 to SCHSA at any 7-Eleven branch in Hong Kong. If you require an official tax exempted receipt, please send the receipt of 7-Eleven together with your name, telephone number and address by e-mail to fundraising@schsa.org.hk, or mail to “S2, 2/F, Oi Man Plaza, Homantin, Kowloon, Hong Kong”, or fax to 27978990. Please specify the donation for “Care-on-Call Charity Programme” / “EasyHome Services Charity Programme” on the back of the receipt.

Payment-by-Phone Service (PPS)
  • Registered users can call 18031 and enter SCHSA’s Merchant Code 9195 as well as their donor number*, then press 2 to donate and enter the donation amount. After completing the donation procedure, we will contact the donors by phone according to the information provided.

  • Make online donation via PPS by Internet

*If you do not have a donor number, please enter your mobile number.

2. How can I obtain the donation receipt for tax reduction?

Monthly donors: An annual receipt which records your donation in the past fiscal year will be issued in April for tax reduction.

One-off donors: To reduce administrative cost, we won't issue receipt for every donation. If you would like to obtain the donation receipt for tax reduction, please return your donation records (e.g. cheque, deposit slip or 7-Eleven donation receipt, etc.) with your name, contact number, email, and address to us. We will issue the donation receipt within 4 weeks after receiving your donation records.

3. May I request for donation receipts in the name of another person? 


If you prefer to receive your donation receipt in another name, please make the instruction when you make donation or contact Fundraising Department at 2338 8312.

5. Can I make monthly donation with my credit card expiring in a few months? 

Your monthly donation will remain effective if there is no change of cardholder name and card number. Please download the changes on Monthly Donation Form or contact Fundraising Department at 2338 8312 for enquiry or updating information.

6. Can I donate overseas? 

You are suggested donating via online donation with credit card or PPS by Internet.

7. How does SCHSA make use of my donation? 

The Association deploys its donation income to support the Care-on-Call Charity Programme and EasyHome Services Charity Programme.

The Care-on-Call Charity Programme supports the deprived elderly and others in need the free use of Care-on-Call Service – a comprehensive 24/7 support service.

The EasyHome Services Charity Programme supports deprived elderly and others in need the free use of at-home care, cleaning and medical escort services.

8. How much of the donation is used to help the elderly? 

We strive to manage our fundraising expenses at 5-7%. Over 90% of the donation is used for providing deprived elderly the free Care-on-Call Service and EasyHome Services. Please browse our annual report for more information.
